About me (English Version)

I work with language – in writing, translation, and teaching.
Each day, I encounter it anew.

My background lies in journalism, communication studies, philosophy, and history. This intertwining shapes the way I think and work: attentive, structured, responsible – and patient.

A central focus of my work is translation into and out of German, Romanian, and English. I understand translation as a careful engagement with meaning, tone, context, and image. In this process, language emerges as a structure in which thinking organises itself.

Alongside my humanities background, I am guided by a strong interest in mathematics and analytical thinking. Clarity and logical procedure are as integral to my writing as to my pedagogical work.

I came to art at the moment when language no longer offered me expression. I suddenly found myself in a space whose language I did not know.

In this urgent need to express myself, the act of painting appeared as a rescue boat. Painting—and later visual art in general—became a language for me, one that acts out of deep silence. Part of this blog unfolds into images that have emerged from this silence.
